Description of Incident
Following a fault with the signalling system between Portsmouth Harbour and Portsmouth & Southsea earlier today, lines have now reopened. Trains running between these stations may still be delayed by up to 20 minutes or revised to allow the service to recover.
Disruption is expected until 11:00.
South Western Railway customer advice:
Engineers have now fixed the fault, so trains are able to run between these stations again.
While the issue has been resolved, disruption will continue because of trains and crew being out of place.
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on:
- Southern services between Portsmouth Harbour and Havant
- Great Western Railway services between Portsmouth Harbour and Fareham
