Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels may lead to flooding. The flood warning for the River Thames at Purley Village has now been removed, however levels remain high. River levels are high but slowly falling on the River Thames and its tributaries from Pangbourne to Purley. Flooding is expected to continue today, 15 February 2026, in the Whitchurch and Pangbourne areas. Further rain is forecast today, which has the potential to be heavy at times. River levels are expected to continue slowly falling, but will remain high over the coming days. We are closely monitoring the situation. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels.
