Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: In Hursley, groundwater levels are high, but slowly falling. In the last week, the weather has been dry. During this time, the groundwater levels have fallen by 10cm. We expect that much of the village is experiencing cellar flooding, and impacts to the sewerage system. From today (17/03/2025) to Friday (21/03/2025), only small amounts of rain are forecast. Groundwater levels are expected to continue falling slowly. Flooding impacts are expected to continue into April. We continue to monitor the forecast. If you have pumps to help reduce water levels, please ensure that they can operate. This Flood Alert will be updated by Monday 24/03/2025.
