Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: This is a Flood Alert update. River levels remain high after the recent rainfall and flooding is expected to continue to affect locations near the Lower Dorset Stour and the tributaries between Wimborne and Christchurch. Low lying land and roads are expected to be most affected. No further rainfall is forecast over the next couple of days, but we will continue to monitor the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. Check local authority websites for road closures.
