Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 16 February 2026 . Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including communities near to the River Trent, Queens Drive Park and Ride and Stoke Lane at Stoke Bardolph, Caythorpe road and Hoveringham road, and cellars of low-lying properties at Cavendish Bridge. Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Colwick Gauge have peaked, but forecast rainfall could cause a further rise in levels We are closely monitoring the situation . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 9:00AM on 17 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
