Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding today. Flooding is expected from the evening of 28 February 2026 . River levels are continuing to rise at the Churchover river gauge. Flooding may affect properties and roads in the Brownsover Road, Swift Park and Leicester Road Retail Park areas. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Stay away from floodwater – it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . Activate any flood protection products you have. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 01 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
