Current Flood Alert: Flood alert 3

Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Considerable water remains on the Somerset Levels and Moors. Flooding is forecast to affect locations and moors near the River Yeo, River Parrett, Kings Sedgemoor Drain and River Sowy, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected particularly around the road at the south end of Westover Trading Estate. There is a risk of flooding to properties at Westover Trading Estate at Langport. We are pumping at Westover pumping station and using the Parrett Relief Channel as river levels and water levels on the moors allow. Sunday (15/2/26) will be a showery day and these showers may be heavy at times. The showery theme will continue through Monday with a drier outlook currently forecast for Tuesday. We are closely monitoring the situation and Field Teams are out clearing debris screens and checking rivers for blockages. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Don’t put yourself or others at risk. This message will be updated by 1PM on 16th February 2026.
