Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels are rising at the Crew Green river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland remains possible for today, 05/10/25. We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent the river from Shrewsbury to Upper Arley. Predicted Peak :- Crew Green 4.95m to 5.1m today 05/10/2025 at 17:00. No other gauge locations are expected to reach flood alert levels. No further significant rainfall is forecast. We expect river levels to remain high until 06/10/25. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 10am 06/10/2025, or as the situation changes
