Description of Incident
A shortage of train crew between Salisbury and Exeter St Davids means a reduced service will run between these stations.
Disruption is expected until 21:00.
Customer advice:
The following trains will be altered:
- 10:20 London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids will be terminating at Yeovil Junction
- 11:25 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will be terminating at Yeovil Junction
- 12:13 Yeovil Junction to London Waterloo will be starting from Salisbury
- 13:25 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will be starting from Salisbury
- 15:25 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will be starting from Yeovil Junction
- 16:20 London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids will be terminating at Salisbury
Additional train services have been planned to operate:
- 14:21 Salisbury to London Waterloo
- 19:13 Yeovil Junction to Exeter St Davids
Your ticket can be used, at no extra cost, on the following services:
Rail services:
- Great Western Railway services between:
- Exeter St Davids and London Paddington
- Westbury and Salisbury in both directions
- Westbury and Yeovil Pen Mill in both directions
- Reading and Basingstoke in both directions
These services are expected to be very busy, South Western Railway ticket holders will be accommodated where space allows.
Bus services:
- Stagecoach South West:
- H: between Exeter St Davids and Exeter Central
- P: between Exeter Central and Pinhoe
- 1 / 1A: between Exeter Central – Pinhoe – Broadclyst (near Cranbrook)
- 4: between Exeter stations and Cranbrook
- 9: between Honiton and Exeter Central (long route via Sidmouth)
- 44 / 44A: between Axminster – Honiton – Cranbrook – Exeter Central
South Western Railway are arranging replacement buses between Exeter St Davids and Salisbury. We will let you know when this is in place.
