Description of Incident
A problem at a level crossing between Derby Road and Trimley means trains will run at reduced speed on some lines. Trains running between Ipswich and Felixstowe may be cancelled or delayed by up to 25 minutes.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
Owing to a ongoing level crossing problem between Derby Road and Trimley train services are subject to delays and cancellations. Network Rail staff are on site and will have the problem resolved as soon as possible.
Advance purchase tickets holders will be allowed to travel on earlier or later trains if their booked service is cancelled.
Ticket acceptance:
- Local buses operated by First will pass Greater Anglia ticket holders on routes 75 and 77 between Ipswich and Felixstowe
