Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Evesham and Worcester Shrub Hill, closing all lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

  • The 19:36 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill (via Swindon) will extend to Worcester Foregate Street, Malvern Link, Great Malvern, Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford
  • The 19:53 London Paddington to Hereford will terminate at Moreton-in-Marsh. Road transport will run from Moreton-in-Marsh to Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore, Worcestershire Parkway, dropping off only at Worcester Shrub Hill, Worcester Foregate Street, Malvern link and Great Malvern. For Colwall, Ledbury and Hereford you should instead travel by earlier or alternative services
  • The 20:52 London Paddington to Great Malvern will call additionally at Didcot Parkway. It will then divert between Didcot Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill (via Swindon and Cheltenham Spa – NOT calling at either), then call at Worcester Foregate Street, Malvern Link and Great Malvern. It will not call at Oxford, or stations from Oxford to Worcestershire Parkway via Moreton-in-Marsh
  • The 20:56 Worcester Foregate Street to London Paddington will start from Moreton-in-Marsh at 21:44. No road transport will be provided for this train. From Worcester Shrub Hill, Worcestershire Parkway, Pershore, Evesham and Honeybourne, you should travel by earlier rail services. Road transport will run at 21:42 from Worcester Shrub Hill and call at all stations to Moreton-in-Marsh to connect with later trains. You will need to make an earlier rail connection from Great Malvern, Malvern Link and Worcester Foregate Street to Worcester Shrub Hill to connect with this bus
  • The 21:53 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill will terminate at Moreton-in-Marsh. Road transport will run from Moreton-in-Marsh to Honeybourne, Evesham, Pershore, Worcestershire Parkway and Worcester Shrub Hill
  • The 22:00 Hereford to London Paddington will terminate at Worcester Shrub Hill (and restart Moreton-in-Marsh at 23:32). There will be no connection between the two train services. Road transport will run from Worcester Shrub Hill to Worcestershire Parkway, Pershore, Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton-in-Marsh, dropping off only at Kingham, Charlbury, Hanborough and Oxford. There will be no rail connection from Oxford towards London Paddington
  • The 22:51 London Paddington to Worcestershire Parkway will terminate at Moreton-in-Marsh. Road transport will run from Moreton-in-Marsh to Honeybourne, Evesham, dropping off only at Pershore and Worcestershire Parkway

Tuesday to Friday:

  • The 05:16 Worcester Shrub Hill to London Paddington will start from Moreton-in-Marsh at 05:53. An earlier bus will run at 04:00 from Worcester Shrub Hill, Worcestershire Parkway, Pershore, Evesham and Honeybourne to Moreton-in-Marsh, connecting with the train
