Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Swansea, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Wednesday:

The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea will terminate at Port Talbot Parkway. Road transport will run from Port Talbot Parkway to Neath and Swansea.

The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Pyle and Port Talbot Parkway by an alternative route, arriving at Port Talbot Parkway a few minutes earlier than normal, where it will terminate. Road transport will run from Port Talbot Parkway to Neath and Swansea.

Tuesday to Thursday:

The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will start from Port Talbot Parkway at 04:16, arriving / departing Bridgend at 04:28 / 04:29 and arriving at Cardiff Central at 04:57. Earlier road transport will run at 03:30 from Swansea (calling at Neath at 03:52) to Port Talbot Parkway, connecting with the train.

Thursday:

The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Pyle and Port Talbot Parkway by an alternative route, arriving at Port Talbot Parkway a few minutes earlier than normal.
