Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between London Kings Cross and Peterborough, closing some lines.
Grand Central:
No trains will run on any Grand Central routes.
Great Northern / Thameslink:
All day on Saturday and Sunday, no trains will run between Potters Bar and Royston / Peterborough, or between Hertford North and Stevenage.
A revised train service will run between:
- Royston and Cambridge / Ely / Kings Lynn
- Moorgate and Hertford North / Potters Bar
- London Kings Cross and Potters Bar
- Finsbury Park and Brighton
- Finsbury Park and Horsham (Saturday only)
Replacement buses will run between:
- Hitchin and Royston
- Bedford and Peterborough via St Neots
- Hitchin and Peterborough
- Luton Airport Parkway and Stevenage via Hitchin
- St Albans City and Stevenage via Hatfield
- Hertford North and Stevenage
- Potters Bar and Hitchin
Additionally before 09:40 on Sunday, buses will replace trains between Finsbury Park and Stevenage via Hertford North.
Ticket acceptance:
Your tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on Thameslink services between Bedford and London, and on Greater Anglia services between Cambridge North / Hertford East and London Liverpool Street.
Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on Elizabeth line services between Farringdon and London Liverpool Street, and on London Buses / London Underground services between Kings Cross St Pancras and Tottenham Hale / Liverpool Street.
Hull Trains:
Hull Trains will run a reduced service to / from London St Pancras International.
As a result, trains will not call at Stevenage, Grantham, Retford, Doncaster, Cottingham or Beverley.
LNER:
No trains will run to / from London Kings Cross.
An amended train service will run between:
- Peterborough and Doncaster
- Peterborough and Leeds
- Peterborough and Harrogate
- Peterborough and York
- Peterborough and Newcastle
- Peterborough and Edinburgh
- Doncaster and Edinburgh
Rail replacement bus services will run between Bedford and Peterborough where customers can connect with trains to / from London St Pancras International.
Lumo:
An amended and reduced service will run between Edinburgh and Newcastle only.
