Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between East Croydon and Purley from 01:00 until approximately 09:00 on Sunday morning, closing some lines.
Gatwick Express:
No Gatwick Express trains will run until approximately 07:00 on Sunday morning, then from 07:00 until approximately 09:00, Gatwick Express trains will run to an amended timetable with slightly extended journey times.
Southern:
At the end of Saturday service, the 00:50 (on Sunday morning) Purley to Tattenham Corner train will not run. A replacement bus will run from Purley to Tattenham Corner.
From approximately 01:00 until approximately 09:00 on Sunday morning, trains between London Victoria and Three Bridges / Brighton will run to an amended timetable with extended journey times.
Until approximately 09:00 on Sunday morning, buses will replace trains between East Croydon and Caterham (first train only) and Caterham.
Paper Rail Tickets will be accepted on London Bus routes 407 / 434 / 439 between East Croydon and Caterham until 09:00 at no extra cost.
Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.
Thameslink:
At the end of Saturday service and before 06:25 on Sunday, Thameslink trains running through the Purley area will run to an amended timetable, with extended journey times.
