Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place in the London Paddington area, closing various lines.

Elizabeth line:

  • Trains that usually run between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead will run between Abbey Wood and London Paddington (Elizabeth line)
  • A reduced service of 2 trains per hour will run between Abbey Wood and Heathrow Airport Terminal 4
  • Train services will run between Shenfield and Heathrow Terminal 5, and between Abbey Wood and Reading
  • A reduced service of 2 trains per hour will call at Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley, West Drayton and Heathrow Airport Terminal 4
  • A reduced service of 4 trains per hour will call at Heathrow Airport Terminals 2 & 3
  • A reduced service of 6 trains per hour will call at Hayes & Harlington, Southall and Ealing Broadway
  • No trains will call at Acton Main Line, West Ealing or Hanwell. For these stations, you should use nearby London Underground stations instead
  • Services between Abbey Wood and Reading will call additionally at Iver

Long distance services:

Trains will run to an amended timetable, with trains running up to 16 minutes earlier or later than usual.

Local services:

The majority of services which usually run between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will be retimed to run up to 12 minutes earlier or later than usual, and will run between Reading and Didcot Parkway only.

Train services between London Paddington and Swindon will be amended to additionally call at Slough, Maidenhead and Twyford.

Heathrow Express:

An amended service will run after approximately 09:00, with trains running every 30 minutes.
