Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Derby and Chesterfield, closing some lines.
CrossCountry:
Saturday and Sunday:
Journey times between Derby and the North East and Scotland will be extended by up to one hour.
East Midlands Railway:
Saturday:
An amended timetable will be in place between London St Pancras International and Sheffield, with one train per hour running between London St Pancras International and Sheffield (not calling at Derby and additionally calling at East Midlands Parkway), and one train per hour running between London St Pancras International and Derby.
The 09:43 Leicester to Grimsby Town train will depart Leicester earlier than scheduled at 09:40, it will continue to run up to 6 minutes earlier through to Nottingham, where it will return to it’s scheduled departure time through to Grimsby Town.
The 06:55 Derby to Sheffield train will start from Derby earlier than scheduled at 06:44, it will then depart Dronfield later than scheduled at 07:26 and arrive at Sheffield at 07:36. It will not call at Belper. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Derby and Sheffield calling at Belper and Chesterfield.
The 22:00 Sheffield to Derby train will arrive at Derby later than scheduled at 22:53, it will not call at Belper. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Chesterfield and Derby calling at Belper.
Sunday:
An amended timetable will be in place between London St Pancras International and Sheffield, with one train per hour running between London St Pancras International and Sheffield (not calling at Derby and additionally calling at East Midlands Parkway), and one train per hour running between London St Pancras International and Derby.
There will be a revised service on the Cleethorpes to Matlock route, trains will start / terminate at Derby. There will be a connecting rail replacement bus service running between Derby and Matlock.
Additionally:
The 07:57 Derby to London St Pancras International train will depart Derby earlier than scheduled at 07:45, it will then depart East Midlands Parkway later than scheduled at 08:15 and will continue to run up to 15 minutes later through to London St Pancras International. It will no longer call at Long Eaton. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Derby and East Midlands Parkway calling at Long Eaton.
The 08:01 Derby to Ambergate train will not run. It will be replaced with a rail replacement bus calling at Duffield and Belper.
The 08:21 Nottingham to London St Pancras International train will start from East Midlands Parkway at 08:28, it will depart Loughborough earlier than scheduled at 08:37 and will return to it’s scheduled departure time from Leicester through to London St Pancras International. It will no longer call at Nottingham or Beeston. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Nottingham and East Midlands Parkway calling at Beeston.
The 09:00 London St Pancras International to Nottingham train will start from Luton at 09.28, it will no longer call at London St Pancras International or Luton Airport Parkway.
The 08:30 Nottingham to Manchester Piccadilly train will depart Nottingham later than scheduled at 08:50, it will not call at Derby or Belper and will return to its scheduled departure time from Chesterfield through to Manchester Piccadilly. A connecting rail replacement bus will run between Derby and Chesterfield calling at Belper.
There will be an additional train between Nottingham and Derby, departing Nottingham at 08:30, arriving Derby at 08:50.
Northern:
Saturday only:
Trains will run to an amended timetable between Nottingham and Sheffield. Journey times between Sheffield and Leeds are unaltered.
