Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Rising river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from the morning of 28 February 2026 . Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around Mansfield, the Sherwood Forest Caravan Park at Clipstone, Edwinstowe, Ollerton, Whitewater Lane at Whitewater Bridge and West Drayton. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Whitewater Bridge Gauge will rise until 16:00 on 28/02/2026. We are closely monitoring the situation . Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 28 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
