Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning.  Flooding is expected from the morning of 28 February 2026 .  Heavy rainfall is currently falling over the Barlings Eau catchment and expected to continue over the next few hours. Properties on Main Road in Langworth are expected to be affected first.  We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .  Start acting on your flood plan if you have one .  This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 01 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
