Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge have peaked and are falling but still pose a flood risk. Areas most at risk are Nottingham Road, Moor Lane, Cotes Road and George Road in Loughborough. Cotes, Loughborough Moors and Quorn including the B675 Quorn to Barrow Upon Soar road. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge will remain high until 02/03/26. This message will be updated by 08:00 on 02 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
