Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning.  Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 .  River levels at Sharnford Gauge are rising due to heavy rain. Areas most at risk are Leicester Road, Fox Hollies, Sharnbrook Gardens and Coventry Road. Sharnford, Soar Mill and Croft are also at risk.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water .  This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 28 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
