Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning. Flooding is expected on 28 February 2026 . Areas most at risk are Brookfield Avenue, Forest Road, Oaklands Avenue, Devonshire Square, Cattle Market, Granby Street, Kingfisher Way, Robin Mews, Bridgeside Cottages, Canal Bank and Packe Street. Loughborough, including properties around Forest Road and areas north of A6 are also at risk. River levels at Loughborough Gauge are rising rapidly due to the nature of the catchment We are closely monitoring the situation . Start acting on your flood plan if you have one . This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 28 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
