Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels are expected to cause flooding today. Areas most at risk are properties at Huston Close, Proctors Park Road and Mill Lane near the River Soar. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge have peaked, but forecast rainfall could cause a further rise in levels. Levels will remain high until Monday 16/02/26. We are closely monitoring the situation . Start acting on your flood plan if you have one . This message will be updated by 07:30AM on 16 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
