Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Forecast high river levels tomorrow morning may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible on 14 November 2025 .  Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Littlethorpe, Braunstone, Aylestone, Abbey Park, Birstall and Wanlip, and Braunstone Lane East, Sharnford, Croft, the Mill on the Soar car park, Falconry and Whetstone Brook area. Heavy rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels will begin rising from Friday morning, 14/11/2025.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Please do not drive through floodwater as bow waves may affect adjacent properties & monitor local water levels and weather conditions.  This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 14 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
