Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: The River Ems is high following weeks of rain. Minor flood impacts affecting fields, Brook Meadows, and rural roads will continue. Persistent rain will continue until 17:00 15/02/2026. River levels should rise by less than 20cm, but minor flooding could affect gardens of properties on North Street, River Street and at the Wren Centre, Westbourne. Also near Lumley Mill and Victoria Terrace, Emsworth. River levels should peak by 18:00 15/02/2026. River levels will not fall far though. Only isolated showers are forecast Monday and Tuesday, but widespread rain is forecast for Wednesday, and flood risk could return. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February. We are closely monitoring the situation operating our structure at Constant Springs, and clearing debris screens. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Westbourne and Emsworth, flooding may occur quickly. This message will be updated by 20:00 16/02/2026.
