Current Flood Alert: Flood alert 3

Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: This is a Flood Alert update. River levels are remaining high in the River Avon due to the recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers around the tributaries between Salisbury and Ringwood. Further rain is expected over the weekend and we are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. Check local authority websites for road closures. This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 16 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
