Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.  Flooding is expected on 13 November 2025 .  Locations most affected will be low lying area beside the river Caldew between Holme Head Bay and Nelson Bridge, including Denton Holme, Bousteads Grassing and James Street.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Activate any flood protection products you may have .  This message will be updated by 4:00PM on 13 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
