Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels are high. Flooding is possible on 16 February 2026.Areas most at risk are around the River Ivel from Langford to Blunham, including the rivers Purwell, Hiz, Flit and Hit. We are not expecting the situation to escalate, or to issue any further warning messages at this time. The forecast is mostly dry early this week, meaning river levels should peak soon and start to fall. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00am on Tuesday 17 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
