Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels are rising on the River Ray. Flood Warnings are in force on the River Ray from the Heath Bridge area up to and including the Otmoor Basin and also for the Islip area. River levels are slowly rising on the River Ray close to Islip. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue in the Islip area. Today, 16 February 2026, is forecast to be predominantly dry with a few scattered showers, some of which may be heavy. We expect river levels to continue slowly rising over the next 24-48 hours. Water levels will remain high and sensitive to further rainfall over the coming days. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Avoid low lying footpaths and roads near rivers, which may be flooded. Go to River Levels Online for updates on current river levels.
