Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Groundwater levels in Hursley are high but slowly falling. At the borehole in Hursley, the level has fallen by 42cm in the last week. Widespread cellar flooding and sewerage system issues are expected to be ongoing in the village. Only small amounts of rain are forecast from Monday 30/03/2026 to Friday 03/04/2026. Groundwater levels will continue to fall slowly during the next week. If the weather forecast continues to be favourable next week, this Flood Alert may be removed. We are closely monitoring the situation. Residents are advised to ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed. This message will be updated by 18:00 on 07/04/2026.
