Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels today has led to flooding. Flooding is possible on 28 February 2026 . River levels are high but falling at the Swans Barn gauge, therefore flooding remains possible. Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to River Cole between Majors Green and Coleshill. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Stay away from floodwater – it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 01 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
