Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High tides tomorrow morning may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible from 06:40AM to 10:40AM on 16 February 2026. Areas most at risk include Christchurch Harbour and tidal stretches of the Lower Stour and Avon. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at 1.38mAODN at 08:39am tomorrow morning, which is 0.74 m above tide tables, with westerly force 6 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level). Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide times. We are closing flood gates and closely monitoring the situation.
