Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this evening. Areas most at risk are Main Street, Upper Holme and Lower Holme on Zouch Island. Properties are now at risk of flooding. Access is likely to be lost to properties on Zouch Island due to high water. Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Kegworth Gauge are rising rapidly. Levels will remain high until Monday 16/02/26. We are closely monitoring the situation . Start acting on your flood plan if you have one . This message will be updated by 07:30AM on 16 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
