Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on Sunday 15/02/2026, with 15mm of rain forecast. Flooding is continuing to affect North Walls Recreation Ground and River Park. Winchester City Council have installed flood barriers at Park Avenue, River Park, and Water Lane. If rain falls as forecast today (Sunday 15/02/2026), river levels will rise. More rainfall is forecast on Tuesday (17/02/2026) and Wednesday (18/02/2026). River levels will remain high for the next few weeks. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Don’t put yourself or others at risk. Flood water could be deep. Winnall Moors Nature Reserve may be closed. This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 17 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
