Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Peterborough and Ely, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Buses will replace trains between Peterborough and Cambridge.

East Midlands Railway:

On Saturday, trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich will operate between Liverpool Lime Street and Peterborough only.

On Sunday and Monday, trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Norwich will operate between Manchester Piccadilly and Peterborough only.

Buses will replace trains direct between Peterborough and Norwich.

If you are travelling to stations between Peterborough and Norwich or between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Piccadilly, you are advised to use alternative train services.

Additionally on Saturday and Monday, the 12:51 Liverpool Lime Street to Nottingham service will now run to Peterborough.

On Monday, an additional service will operate between Peterborough and Nottingham, departing at 20:22.

Great Northern:

Rail replacement buses will operate between Kings Lynn and Cambridge North.

Greater Anglia:

Buses will replace trains between:

  • Cambridge North and Thetford
  • Peterborough and Bury St Edmunds

Trains will run to an amended timetable between Thetford and Norwich, between Stansted Airport and Cambridge North, and between Cambridge and Ipswich.
