Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Mill Lane and Water Lane at Frisby on the Wreake, Rearsby Road at Thrussington, Broome Lane at Ratcliffe on the Wreake, Frisby, and farmlands at Hoby, Brooksby, Thrussington, Ratcliffe and Syston. Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at the Frisby on the Wreake and Syston Gauge remain high. Ground conditions are saturated, river levels may rise rapidly in response to rainfall. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 17 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
