Description of Incident
A speed restriction because of severe weather means trains have to run at reduced speed between Lockerbie and Oxenholme Lake District. Trains running between these stations may be delayed by up 30 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

To assist you with your journey, you can use your ticket on TransPennine Express services between Edinburgh / Glasgow Central and Preston at no extra cost, until 15:00.
If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
