Description of Incident
The Met Office have issued yellow weather warnings for heavy rain for today across parts of northern England and Scotland.
This follows poor weather and yellow weather warnings yesterday, which impacted South Wales and southwest England.
There are also further yellow weather warnings in place for heavy rain on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 November across parts of England.
Please check your entire journey before you travel on any of the affected days.

The forecast inclement weather may cause trains to be disrupted:
- Heavy rainfall can cause flooding that results in tracks being underwater and embankments being damaged
- Flooding can affect points, which allow trains to move from one line to another, and electrical systems
- Speed restrictions may be imposed for safety reasons, extending journey times
Current weather related disruptions:
- Flooding between Exeter St Davids and Barnstaple
- Flooding on some Northern routes in the Carlisle area
- Speed restrictions between Lockerbie and Oxenholme Lake District
- Blanket emergency speed restrictions on some ScotRail routes until Friday 14 November
