Latest flood alert advice from the Environment Agency: River levels remain high today which has led to flooding. Flooding continues 13 November 2025. Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from the Welsh border at Llawnt to Shrawardine near Shrewsbury. Other locations that may be affected include Llanymynech, Maesbrook and Melverley. Roads between Maesbrook, Melverley and Pentre start to flood. Due to uncertain forecast heavy rainfall that has not yet fallen and been observed, but may have significant impact within the community, we are unable to provide any real time peak information. As the situation evolves we will be able to provide more details. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and monitor local water levels and weather conditions. This message will be updated by 9:00AM on 14 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
