Northern between Blackpool North / Blackburn / Hebden Bridge / Leeds and York

TransPennine Express between Manchester Victoria and Darlington, between Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Airport and York / Newcastle, between Manchester Airport and Redcar Central / Saltburn, between Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Victoria and Scarborough

Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Micklefield and York, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

No CrossCountry trains will operate between Leeds and York.

A reduced service will call at Wakefield Westgate and Leeds.

Tickets between Leeds and York can be used on all train operators.

Northern:

Buses will replace trains between Micklefield and York.

TransPennine Express:

Due to Transpennine Route Upgrade improvement works between Leeds and York / Selby TransPennine Express services will divert and run to amended timetables:

Saturday:

  • Liverpool Lime Street to Hull
  • Manchester Airport to Leeds
  • Manchester Victoria to Leeds
  • Manchester Piccadilly to Wakefield Kirkgate
  • York to Scarborough
  • York to Redcar Central
  • York to Newcastle

Sunday:

  • Liverpool Lime Street to Hull (additionally calling at Newton-le-Willows)
  • Manchester Airport to Newcastle (additionally calling at Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Oxford Road and Dewsbury)
  • Manchester Victoria to Redcar Central
  • Manchester Piccadilly to York (Huddersfield before 12:30)
  • York to Scarborough

Monday to Friday:

  • Liverpool Lime Street to Hull (additionally calling at Newton-le-Willows, will not call at Stalybridge when travelling westbound)
  • Manchester Airport to Newcastle (additionally calling at Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Oxford Road and Dewsbury)
  • Manchester Victoria to Redcar Central, (additionally calling at Stalybridge when travelling westbound)
  • Manchester Piccadilly to York (will not call at Normanton every two hours)
  • York to Scarborough
