Description of Incident

Major engineering work is taking place at London Victoria station, closing all lines used by Southeastern.

No Southeastern trains will run to / from London Victoria from Saturday 27 to Wednesday 31 December.

Saturday 27 December, and Monday 29 to Wednesday 31 December:

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate via Chatham will run to / from London Cannon Street instead, and will run non-stop between London Bridge and Rochester. Trains between London Victoria and Dover Priory via Chatham will run from London Cannon Street instead, and run non-stop between London Bridge and Longfield using an alternative route. Stopping services which only run between London Victoria and Gillingham will run to / from London Cannon Street, and will run non-stop between London Bridge and Bromley South.

Maidstone East Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will run from London Charing Cross, and run non-stop between London Bridge and St Mary Cray.

Additional trains will run between London Cannon Street and Swanley, calling at London Bridge, Bromley South and St Mary Cray.

Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Victoria and Gravesend via Bexleyheath will not run. Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will not run. Brixton station will be closed all day.

Hayes Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Hayes which do not run via Lewisham will be diverted after New Beckenham to run to / from Orpington, calling at Beckenham Junction, Shortlands, Bromley South, Bickley / Petts Wood. Trains which run between London Charing Cross and Hayes via Lewisham will run normally.

Sunday 28 December:

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate via Chatham will run to / from London Cannon Street instead, and will run non-stop between London Bridge and Rochester. Stopping services which run between London Victoria and Dover Priory will run to / from London Cannon Street, and will run non-stop between London Bridge and Bromley South.

Maidstone East Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ashford International via Maidstone East will run from Cannon Street, and run non stop between London Bridge and St Mary Cray.

Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will be diverted to / from London Charing Cross. These trains will run between London Charing Cross and Beckenham Junction via New Beckenham, calling additionally at London Waterloo East, London Bridge, Ladywell, Catford Bridge, and Lower Sydenham. Brixton station will be closed all day.

Bexleyheath Line: Trains between London Victoria and Dartford via Bexleyheath will not run. Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Accessible replacement buses will run between Denmark Hill and Beckenham Junction, calling at all stations between Herne Hill and Beckenham Junction.

The following stations will be closed each day and will only be served by replacement buses:

  • West Dulwich
  • Sydenham Hill
  • Penge East
  • Kent House

Alternative travel options:

You can use London Underground at no extra cost between Victoria, Brixton, Elephant & Castle, Blackfriars, Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark & Waterloo.

You can use Thameslink services at no extra cost between Blackfriars, Bromley South and Sevenoaks to connect with trains to / from Gillingham, Faversham, Ashford International, Ramsgate and Dover Priory at Swanley.
