Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Preston and Carlisle, closing some lines.
TransPennine Express will have the following amendments to service:
- 16:04 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh will start at Preston at 17:04
- 17:04 Manchester Airport to Glasgow Central will terminate at Preston
- 18:04 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh will not run
- 20:04 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh will terminate at Oxenholme Lake District
TransPennine Express will operate additional services which are below:
- 16:04 Manchester Airport to Preston (please note this train will not connect into the revised service starting from Preston)
- 17:07 Glasgow Central to Carlisle
- 18:13 Carlisle to Glasgow Central
- 18:43 Carlisle to Glasgow Central
- 18:48 Preston to Manchester Airport
