Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Ebbw Vale Town and Cardiff Central, closing some lines.

The following amendments will take place:

  • The 21:11 Maesteg to Ebbw Vale Town service will terminate at Cardiff Central with an onward replacement bus operating to Ebbw Vale Town – please note that this will call at Newport (South Wales) to pick-up passengers only. Passengers from Cardiff Central to Newport (South Wales) should use the 22:21 Transport for Wales service to Crewe
  • The 22:09 Maesteg to Ebbw Vale Town service will terminate at Cardiff Central with an onward replacement bus operating to Ebbw Vale Town
  • The 22:12 Ebbw Vale Town to Cardiff Central service will divert via Newport (South Wales) with an extended journey time
  • The 23:13 Ebbw Vale Town to Cardiff Central service will be replaced by a bus throughout
