Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Eastbourne and Hastings, closing all lines.

All day on Friday, Saturday and Monday, no Southern trains will run between Eastbourne and Hastings. On Sunday, no Southern trains will run between Polegate and Hastings.

Replacement buses will run between Polegate / Eastbourne and Hastings / Ore.

Trains which usually run between Eastbourne and Ashford International will be amended to only run between Hastings and Ashford International.

Trains will also be amended to run between London Victoria and Eastbourne and between Brighton and Eastbourne.

From Saturday to Monday, tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on Southeastern trains between Hastings and London.

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.
