Saturday and Sunday:

Background information:
Network Rail are making upgrades to Kingston Railway Bridge, between New Malden and Twickenham, to increase the resilience of the railway.
All 58 of the wheel timbers on Kingston Railway Bridge will be renewed, as well as refurbishing the track that runs over them. The current wheel timbers are no longer fit for purpose and are being replaced with new synthetic wheel timbers which are more durable than the old ones. They also use less wood, reducing the need for tree felling.
The renewals to the line will help avoid faults causing delays, improving the reliability of the line. More technical details on this project are available from the Network Rail website.
