Description of Incident
Engineering work is taking place between Huddersfield / Brighouse and Dewsbury, closing some lines.
Northern:
Between Leeds and Manchester Victoria / Wigan Wallgate via Dewsbury: Trains will be diverted to run via Bradford Interchange and Halifax, and will not call at Morley, Batley, Dewsbury, Mirfield and Brighouse.
Between Leeds and Bradford Interchange via Dewsbury: Trains will not run.
A shuttle train service will be provided between Brighouse and Bradford Interchange.
Buses will be provided between:
- Dewsbury and Halifax
- Dewsbury and Huddersfield
TransPennine Express:
No services will operate between Manchester and Leeds via Huddersfield.
The following amended timetables will be in operation.
Tuesday and Wednesday:
- Dewsbury to Hull (Additionally calling at: Batley, Morley and (Southbound Only – Cottingley)
- York to Scarborough
- Dewsbury to Redcar Central (Additionally calling at: Batley, Morley and (Northbound Only – Cottingley)
- Huddersfield to Manchester Airport via Stalybridge
- Huddersfield to Manchester Victoria via Hebden Bridge
- Wakefield Kirkgate to York via Castleford
- Liverpool Lime Street to Huddersfield via Stalybridge
- Leeds to Newcastle
The 03:20 Sheffield to Manchester Airport will start later at 03:39.
Wednesday only:
The following services will be amended and you should travel on earlier TransPennine Express services:
The 17:02 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at York.
The 17:24 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle will start at Darlington at 19:50.
The 17:44 Manchester Airport to Redcar Central will start at Dewsbury at 1839 and will additionally call at Batley, Morley and Cottingley but will terminate at York.
The 18:24 Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle will start at Darlington at 20:51.
The 18:44 Manchester Airport to Redcar Central will start at Dewsbury at 19:39 and will additionally call at Batley, Morley and Cottingley but will terminate at York.
The 19:02 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at Darlington.
The 19:43 Newcastle to Liverpool Lime Street will terminate at Darlington.
The 19:44 Manchester Airport to Saltburn will start at Dewsbury at 20:39 and will additionally call at Batley, Morley and Cottingley but will terminate at York.
