Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday:

The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea service will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal.

The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea service will use this route as normal between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling).

The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea service will be diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway, calling additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa (drop off only) and will further divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal.

On Wednesday and Thursday nights, the above trains will incur 8 minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

Tuesday and Wednesday:

The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington service will arrive / depart Bridgend and arrive Cardiff Central a few minutes later than normal. Normal timings departing Cardiff Central and beyond.
