Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between London Kings Cross and Peterborough, closing all lines.

Grand Central:

No Grand Central services will run.

Great Northern and Thameslink:

No trains will run between London Kings Cross / London St Pancras International / Moorgate and Royston / Peterborough. A shuttle train service will run between Royston and Cambridge / Ely / Kings Lynn.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Peterborough and Bedford via St Neots
  • Hitchin and Peterborough
  • Hitchin and Royston
  • Alexandra Palace and Stevenage via Hertford North
  • Stevenage and St Albans City via Welwyn Garden City
  • Stevenage and Luton Airport Parkway via Hitchin
  • Alexandra Palace and Welwyn Garden City
  • Cockfosters (London Underground station) and Potters Bar via Hadley Wood

Your tickets will be accepted on Thameslink services between Bedford and London, and on Greater Anglia services between Cambridge North / Hertford East and London Liverpool Street.

Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on London Underground services between:

  • Kings Cross St Pancras and Cockfosters / Tottenham Hale / London Liverpool Street
  • Moorgate and High Barnet

Paper rail tickets will be accepted at no extra cost on London Buses between:

  • Kings Cross and Alexandra Palace via Finsbury Park (29/N29, 91/N91, 141, 144, W3)
  • New Barnet and High Barnet (107, 307, 384)
  • Moorgate and Drayton Park (21)

Hull Trains:

Hull Trains will run a reduced timetable, diverting to run between Hull and London St Pancras International.

As a result, trains will not call at Beverley, Cottingham, Doncaster, Retford, Grantham or Stevenage.

LNER:

Services between London Kings Cross and Lincoln / Doncaster / Leeds / Bradford Forster Square / Harrogate / York / Newcastle / Edinburgh / Aberdeen

No trains will run to / from London Kings Cross.

An amended train service will run between:

  • Peterborough and Doncaster
  • Peterborough and Leeds
  • Peterborough and Bradford Forster Square
  • Peterborough and Harrogate
  • Peterborough and York
  • Peterborough and Newcastle
  • Peterborough and Edinburgh
  • Peterborough and Dundee
  • Peterborough and Aberdeen
  • Peterborough and Inverness

Rail replacement bus services will run between Bedford and Peterborough.

Lumo:

Lumo will run an amended and reduced service between Newcastle and Edinburgh.

No trains will run between London Kings Cross and Newcastle.
