Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between Shenfield and Stratford (London), closing some lines.

Elizabeth line:

Sunday only:

No trains will run between Shenfield and Stratford (London).

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Shenfield and Newbury Park (London Underground) via Romford / Chadwell Heath
  • Romford and Stratford (London)

Trains will run between Stratford (London) and London Paddington / Heathrow Terminal 5.

Greater Anglia:

Saturday:

Buses replace trains between:

  • Southend Victoria and Shenfield
  • Southminster and Wickford

Trains will continue to operate between Norwich / Ipswich / Clacton-on-Sea / Shenfield and London Liverpool Street.

Sunday:

  • Southend Victoria / Ingatestone and Newbury Park (London Underground)
  • Southminster and Wickford

Trains will operate between Norwich / Ipswich / Clacton-on-Sea and Shenfield.

Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost between Newbury Park and Stratford / Liverpool Street (Central line).

London Overground:

Sunday only:

No trains will run between Upminster and Romford.

If you have a National Rail paper ticket or e-ticket, you can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following operators’ services:

  • London Bus route 370 between Upminster / Emerson Park and Romford
  • London Bus route 248 between Upminster and Romford
  • London Underground District line to / from Upminster
  • Elizabeth line services to / from Romford

If you are using contactless payment / Oyster card, you can also use the above alternative travel options but you will be required to pay the normal tap in / tap out fares for your journey.
