Description of Incident

Engineering work is taking place between London Euston and Glasgow Central, closing various lines via Carlisle.

As a result, Caledonian Sleeper trains will be retimed and diverted, and will not call at Watford Junction / Crewe / Preston / Carlisle.

Sunday 28 December and Sunday 4 January:

  • The 21:00 London Euston to Inverness / Aberdeen / Fort William service has been retimed to depart London Euston at 20:20
  • The 20:25 Inverness / 20:36 Aberdeen / 19:00 Fort William service to London Euston service has been retimed to arrive into London Euston at 08:45
  • The 23:30 London Euston to Glasgow Central and Edinburgh has been retimed to depart London Euston at 21:30
  • The 23:15 Glasgow Central / 23:15 Edinburgh to London Euston service has been retimed to depart Glasgow Central at 21:45, Motherwell at 22:03, Carstairs at 22:23 and Edinburgh at 23:00

Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December, and also on Friday 2 January:

Monday 5 to Friday 9 January:

  • The 21:15 London Euston to Inverness / Aberdeen / Fort William service has been retimed to depart London Euston at 20:20
  • The 20:45 Inverness / 20:26 Aberdeen / 19:50 Fort William service to London Euston service has been retimed to arrive into London Euston at 08:45
  • The 23:45 London Euston to Glasgow Central and Edinburgh has been retimed to depart London Euston at 21:30
  • The 23:40 Glasgow Central / 23:40 Edinburgh to London Euston service has been retimed to depart Glasgow Central at 21:45, Motherwell at 22:03, Carstairs at 22:23 and Edinburgh at 23:00

No Caledonian Sleeper services will run on Wednesday 31 December or Thursday 1 January.
