Roadworks have just started on the roundabout at junction 9 M5 which has caused chaos to the surrounding roads leading to/from the roundabout.
It normally takes me 3/4 minutes to get onto the M5, last night (5.30pm) it took an hour!!
is the m5 southbound between j21 and j22 closed at night? We live along the A370 and lorries have been thundering past from about 2200 onwards.

Trying to find information about accident on m5, Strensham services northbound. Site states that there have been no accidents there today but several friends have reported being stuck in the traffic there. What is going on?
Travelling on the M5 since 2pm today and after 4 hours we’ve reached the Gordano services. Terrible traffic – avoid if you can. Maybe charter a boat if you need to travel north.
